Alex Highsmith was one of the founders of TI-Files, one of the major TI sites active from 1997 to 2000 along with ticalc.org and Dimension-TI. He also created some high-quality TI-Basic and assembly RPGs.

Person Significance

He created some of the first high-quality, complex TI-Basic RPGs to be released in the TI community. In particular, his Final Fantasy series. He later released his Dying Eyes RPG created with assembly, which was ported to all of the TI graphing calculators via other programmers in the TI community.

He originally had his own personal TI website called DarkPrism Productions (URL: http://www.geocities.com/tokyo/4981/ffx.htm) where he released his games. He later co-founded TI-Files with Harper Maddox, and then started using the TI-Files URL http://www.ti-files.org.
