Joe Wingbermuehle was a prominent assembly programmer in the TI community, primarily for the TI-83 and TI-83+ graphing calculators.

His site was one of the TI sites that got hosting through Dimension-TI (calc.org).

Joe is well known as the author of Ion, a popular shell for the TI-83 & TI-83+ calculators. It was the first shell released with an SDK that promoted compatibility of programs between the TI-83 & TI-83+. Prior to Ion and the TI-83+, Joe was the author of SOS, another popular shell for the TI-83.

He also wrote numerous high-quality games and programs including Breakout, Diamonds, Box World, DStar, JezzBall, and so on. He also ported several of his games as well as other programmers' games to the TI-83 and TI-83+. His programs were also featured on ticalc.org several times.
