Puzzle Pack ('PuzzPack') is a Flash Application created by Detached Solutions for the TI-83 Plus and TI-83 Plus Silver Edition graphing calculators, which are products of Texas Instruments Incorporated. PuzzPack is a collection of four puzzle games entitled Dino Puzzle, Block Dude, Puzzle Frenzy, and Pegs, each having their own fun and challenging gameplay that will keep users entertained and playing for months.

These games were initially developed by Brandon Sterner and Fred Coughlin of the TI-Calculator Programming Alliance, as individual programs that were released for the Z80 Processor series of graphing calculators such as the TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, and TI-86. In December of 1999, Jason Kovacs of the TCPA combined the programs into a Flash Application for the TI-83 Plus, and PuzzPack v1.0 was released to the public. This first version of the application was a huge success, and in that same month PuzzPack won the 'Program of the Month' award from www.ticalc.org.

PuzzPack caught the attention of Texas Instruments Incorporated in the fall of 2000, and they approached the staff members of Detached Solutions to develop a second version of the application that would be featured on their upcoming model of TI calculators, the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition. Our organization gained the privilege of having PuzzPack v2.0 packaged with all new Silver Editions, so we decided to recode many things in the application to make them better. The titles, graphics, and level sets of certain games have been changed, and the appearance, gameplay, and usage of PuzzPack was optimized as well. We hope that this new and improved version of the Puzzle Pack is enjoyable for all TI-83 Plus and TI-83 Plus Silver Edition users!
