Robert Kuhfss (NanoWar) is an assembly programmer for the TI-83+/84+ calculators and is a member of Revolution Software (RevSoft). He is most known for his Wizards card game, which is based on Magic: The Gathering. The object of the game is to build your own deck of 40 cards which you use to fight against monsters, and the game features quality graphics and gameplay.
The game was featured on ticalc.org in 2005, and actually finished in a first-place tie with Emu8x by Michael Vincent for the TI-83/83+/84+ Program of the Year (POTY) award (see ticalc.org 2005 POTY winners). Interestingly enough, a tie had never occurred before in the history of the ticalc.org POTY contest, so a tie-breaker was held after the rest of the voting was completed, as it was decided that only one program could win. Emu8x was voted the winner in the tie-breaker, however, and came away with the POTY award.
