TI-BANK traces its origins back as TI89Prog, in 2002. In 2005, it was renamed to TI-BANK and became a popular French TI community website, featuring the most important program base. It increased in popularity until 2011 and had a fast growing file archives, with many important TI community news. However, during late Spring and Summer 2011, a dispute between the admin and its staff led to the staff withdrawing all their contributions then starting their own site, TI-Planet. TI-BANK ceased its activities in 2013.
From 2007 to 2011, TI-BANK also included an international news page that fetched links to news from the major English calculator websites via RSS feeds, as an attempt to revive the defunct TI-News website.
