WabbitEmu is currently one of the most popular emulators for Z80 calculators. As an emulator and debugger, it is particularly helpful for the Z80 assembly programming community, as it enables programs to be tested on computer without having to transfer them to the calculator with every code revision.
Features include the following:
- Animated and still screenshots
- Multiple calculators and linking
- Built-in Z80 debugger
- Keystroke logging
- Save states
WabbitEmu is a standalone program that requires no installation or other files to run (except for a valid ROM image). If no ROM image is available, it also features a "ROM wizard" to help obtain a legitimate ROM image. Since 2012, the Windows version has also been largely portable, allowing for it to be used from flash drives and other USB devices.
